Donation to Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital

Houston, TX –

Today, a large donation including 30,000 surgical masks and 1,000 protective suites from Sino Professionals Associations along with several other Chinese American groups was made to the Houston Methodist Hospital. The donation was made at the Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. The branch CEO, Chris Siebenaler, was present to accept the donation. Chris advocated this is the time when we all need to come together to help and support each other. This takes everybody to do the right thing and the organizations come together to give out the time and donate the medical supplies to help support our doctors, nurses and everyone work in the hospital. Mr. Zimmerman, the major of Sugar Land, and State Representative, Gene Wu, also joined and recognized this generous donation from the Chinese American Community at this difficult time. Mr. Zimmerman remarked, “Thanks to Chinese American Community come together and step up to donate this large amount of the medical supplies at this difficult time”. State representative Gene Wu gave closing remarks. He praised and expressed how proud he is.  Chinese American community have done a lot of great things to help the local medical organizations and other front lines organizations to protect our community and our city. Eileen Huang from Sino Professionals Association spoke to everyone that Chinese American Coalition formed by several local nonprofit Chinese organizations and corporations and gave the special thanks to Advanced Healthcare Professionals, Inc and Douson Control products, Inc for their large contribution. She also expressed sincere thanks to all the healthcare practitioners for their heroic service and dedication during this challenging time in our history as well as everyone who puts him or herself in danger every day to keep our life moving forward as best as possible in this crisis.

This is the latest example of how this Chinese American Coalition stepping up to donate much needed personal protective equipment to hospitals and organizations at Greater Houston. Together, they have donated 60,000 masks including surgical masks, N95 masks and 4, 000 protective suites to more than 30 organizations in the past two weeks.

After donation close to 60,000 surgical masks, KN 95 masks, N95 masks and 4,000 protective suits coverall to more than 30 organizations in the past two weeks, Chinese American Coalition led by Sino Professionals Association does it again. This time, to help our frontline soldiers, they are donating 30,000 surgical masks and 1000 protective suits to Houston Methodist.

CEO of Methodist Sugar Land hospital represents Methodist to accept this donation. The donation process starts on Thursday, April 9th at 3:30 pm at Methodist Sugar Land location.  Mayor of Sugar, Joe Zimmerman gives opening remarks and appreciate the contribution from Chinese American Community at this difficult time. Mr. Zimmerman stated, “Thanks to Chinese American Community come together and step up to donate this large amount of the medical supplies at this difficult time”.  Chris Siebenaler, CEO from Methodist Sugar Land thanks to the Sino Professionals Association to make a big effort to make this big donation happen.
